Icon Live - Case Study
Icon Live is one of Europe's leading suppliers of concessions jewellery, supplying the UK’s top high street retail brands with concessions outlets and jewellery.
As a retail concessions provider, Icon Live is often described as the secret behind the success – Even if you haven’t heard of Icon Live, you or one of your friends will probably own one of their products.
The Brief
Icon Live asked Liquid Light to:
- Develop the company’s brand identity, which needed a brand re-alignment rather than a costly re-brand.
- Design and develop a new website which would position Icon Live as being a leading fashion company whilst also communicating their key business proposition.

The Challenge
How to position and identify Icon Live as being one of Europe's leading concession jewellery manufacturers without naming or showcasing their impressive retail client portfolio.
Liquid Light set themselves the task of creating a website which offered visitors a beautiful, dynamic, animated “boutique flash style” website, whilst also retaining a corporate persona – this was all done whilst maintaining web standards and retaining search engine optimisation.
The Result
A lovely website which promotes Icon Live, in a strong and confident manner exuding success and style.
The site proves Icon Live’s fashion credentials showcasing their ranges of Jewellery and accessory offerings, whilst most importantly communicating the key business message, which is about the success which Icon offers its clients.
The site is built using hand coded CSS throughout, and was built using Liquid Light’s bespoke CMS system – Liquid CMS. Additionally the site performs particularly well in search engines ranking them No.2 in Google for their key search term.
The website has recently won and outstanding achievement award in the Fashion/Beauty category of the 2006 Interactive Media Awards.
