Land Securities - Public Relations Extranet - Case Study

As one of the UKs leading FTSE100 companies, the Marketing and Communications team within Land Securities are responsible for generating large amounts of public relations content. With over 30 external PR agencies working with the team, the coordination of PR activity is a complex process.

The Brief

To develop an extranet that will streamline the process of drafting press releases, improving both the efficiency and effectiveness of the PR process.

The solution needed to provide a workflow/approval system that would allow all parties to collaborate on the drafting of press releases and marketing content.

The Challenge

The key challenge with this project was to create a secure website that allowed Land Securities staff and approved partners to work on confidential press releases from anywhere in the UK.

Additionally, the system needed to be flexible and intuitive to use whilst at the same time providing a structured process for review and approval.

The Result

Liquid Light delivered a PR extranet solution that provides Land Securities with an efficient environment for the drafting and approval of documents. The speed with which press releases can be approved has been substantially increased and Land Securities staff also have an auditable "paper trail" of all PR activity.
