Pharmagel - Case Study
Beauty Republica commissioned Liquid Light to develop three websites for their brands and beauty salon – the first to launch is www.pharmagel.co.uk.
Pharmagel is a unique range of professional anti-aging & skin treatment cosmetics, which are developed to pharmaceutical standards utilizing the finest quality ingredients.
The UK website was designed to sit next to the sister brand (soon to be launched) ‘SuperCover’ ensuring that visitors have a consistent and cohesive experience.
The Brief
To design and build an e-commerce website that would support and develop the Pharmagel brand, providing an e-sales channel for the highly successful US cosmetic brand, which is distributed in the UK by Beauty Republica.
Naturally the design for this site was of utmost importance considering the fashion conscious target audience.

The Challenge
The key challenges in this project were:
- To design a website which combines sophisticated ecommerce functionality with an online marketing platform in a clean and elegant manner.
- To develop Pharmagels professional salon image, creating a more consumer-oriented brand.
- To create a framework for a number of brand sites to coexist, offering the visitors a more integrated experience.
The Result
Liquid Light has designed a beautiful website which offers sophisticated ecommerce functionality in a seamless and elegant manner.
Additionally Liquid Light has provided a framework which provides Beauty Republica with a cost effective solution for creating new sites, whilst also providing the end consumer with a more cohesive and integrated online experience.
