Swiss Life: Football Kicker viral marketing campaign - Case Study

Swiss Life is the No1 provider of Insurance & mortgage solutions in Switzerland and one of Europe’s leading financial service companies.

With football fever gripping the world in preparation for the World Cup 2006, Swiss Life became official sponsors of the Swiss National Football teams.

The Brief

To create a viral game as part of the football sponsorship marketing campaign - the game had to be simple, fun and obviously football related.

The Result

A flash based “keepy uppy” football game where players have to try to keep the ball up in the air for as long as possible. Adding the extra something are a number of power-ups and obstacles set to hinder and distract you as you play which add some fun to the game.

Whilst the marketing campaign has only just launched, it has proved to be Swiss Life's most effective data gathering campaigns to date. Over 95% of entrants opting-in for future marketing materials to be sent to them.
