ILEP
ILEP is an international federation of fourteen autonomous non-governmental anti-leprosy organisations. The purpose of ILEP is to promote and facilitate co-operation and collaboration between its Members, by co-ordinating their support to leprosy programmes, representing their common interests and providing technical expertise to the Federation, its members and other parties.
The Brief
Liquid Light were assigned the task of refreshing the existing website with the following key objectives:
- To improve the overall visual impact of the ILEP website and giving it more of a human feel
- To keep visitors up-to-date with news, information and events
- To provide a comprehensive information resource on leprosy
- To provide an intranet/extranet to members around the world
The Challenge
Liquid Light were required to gain a deeper understanding of ILEPs' work in order to create a design that would dispel the myths and stigma surrounding Leprosy.
Given a constrained budget, it was necessary to use an optimised process which would deliver an exceptional website at a much lower cost.
The Result
A vibrant and fresh website filled with images which effortlessly communicate what ILEP is all about.
ILEP can easily keep their visitors up to date with the latest news, information and events with the use of TYPO3 as a Content Management System to add new information to their website.
An excellent consultation process allowed Liquid Light to gain a thorough understanding of our organisation. The staff were great at consulting with us throughout the design process and feeding our ideas back into the work. We are very pleased with the final result and would be happy to recommend Liquid Light to others.
