In this short TYPO3 tutorial I show you several ways to hide a page in the TYPO3 content management system. I cover how to hide a page from pubic viewing, how to hide a page from search engines or website search, how to hide a page from the website menu and several ways you can combine these methods to achieve the desired level of visibility for a page. Hiding pages in TYPO3 is a useful technique whilst populating new content but can also be helpful when creating bespoke content for marketing, landing pages etc.
In this video I start with a basic news record and expand it to show you how content blocks open up many opportunities for creating flexible layouts within TYPO3 records.
In this short video we cover how to add record based content in typo3. Record based content is used by TYPO3 for any kind of content that requires a consistent layout and the ability to filter. Examples of record based content types are news, people, offices, events or publication although its uses have almost unlimited possibilities.
